Shibumi Karate Club

Shibumi Karate Club has been open in the three towns area for over 30 years, training in the art of Karate Do Shotokan. Sensei John Deans has been training and teaching with the club for more than 25 years. Under Sensei John's leadership the club has enjoyed great success at National and International level with many of the club's students successfully competing for the National squad.Sensei John currently has the honour of being the National team coach for Kumite and Kata.

West Kilbride Karate Club is relatively new, being in existence since 2005, but, in this short time the club has prospered and has become a valued addition to community life of the village. The club caters for all ages, with Tiger Cubs Classes for 5 to 7 year olds and evening classes for all ages above 8 years old.

The classes have a very strong family base with Mums and Dads training along with their kids. If you are interested in training in a safe friendly atmosphere you are welcome to come along to one of our classes, you can join in or watch on the first evening. All you need is your bare feet and loose clothing to train.
